Nina & Kola’s Wedding – August 30, 2025
There is something incredibly special about photographing a wedding for a family you have known for years. Nina and Kola have been long-term CBM clients, and I have absolutely loved watching their girls grow up in front of my camera. Being asked to capture this next chapter for them meant more than I can even put into words.
Their ceremony took place at Virginia Street Church in St. Paul, a beautiful and intimate setting that perfectly matched the heart of their day. Surrounded by the people who love them most, Nina and Kola said their vows in a service that was emotional, meaningful, and filled with so many sweet moments.
After the ceremony, everyone gathered at Moscow on the Hill for the reception. With a smaller guest list, the celebration felt warm and personal, and we truly had the chance to connect with everyone there. The laughter, hugs, and conversations throughout the evening made it clear just how loved these two are.

Cousin Photo Session Gift for Grandparents | Family Photographer Osseo MN
Cousin sessions are truly one of my favorite types of family photos, and this group reminded me exactly why. Getting everyone together in one place, watching the kids laugh, play, and show off their personalities, makes for such meaningful images.
This crew came in with a special mission — their portraits were going to become a Christmas gift for Grandma and Grandpa. I can only imagine how excited they will be when they unwrap photos filled with smiles, silly moments, and the love between all of their grandkids.
We captured the classic group shots, of course, but the magic really happens in the in-between moments. The giggles, the side hugs, the way they naturally fall into place next to each other — those are the memories that become priceless as the years go by.
Cousin sessions freeze time in such a beautiful way. Kids grow, families change, and schedules get busy, but photographs allow grandparents to look at their walls every day and see the people they love most together.

The A Family Joins the Mini Milestone Program
How exciting to welcome the A family as a brand new member of the Mini Milestone Program! There is nothing better than knowing I’ll get to see this sweet crew several times over the coming months and watch their little one grow and change right in front of my camera.
Milestone sessions are such a fun way to document baby’s first year. The changes happen so quickly—new expressions, new rolls, sitting up, standing, and suddenly we are talking about first birthdays. Being invited along for all of those chapters is truly an honor.
For their first visit as program members, we kept things simple and focused on baby while still capturing those important family connections. I always love making sure parents jump in for a few photos too. Years from now, those images together will mean even more than you can imagine.

Long-Term Client Summer Family Session | Mom and Two Boys in Minneapolis
Summer evenings are perfect for family sessions!
This session with Mom and her two boys was full of energy, laughter, and those in-between moments that tell the real story of their family. These three are long-term Created by Me Photography clients, and it is such a gift to watch the boys grow a little more every time I see them. Brothers rarely stand still for long, and honestly, I wouldn’t want them to. The walking, the jokes, the quick hugs before they dart off again—those are the memories Mom will love looking back on years from now.
We made sure to capture the classic smiling photos, but my favorites were the ones where the boys leaned into Mom without even thinking. The way they wrapped their arms around her, the proud smiles, and the playful personalities shining through are exactly what summer family photography should be about.
Outdoor sessions this time of year give us beautiful natural backgrounds and dreamy light while still allowing plenty of room for movement. It is the perfect mix for growing boys who want a little freedom but still give Mom those frame-worthy portraits.

Welcoming a brand new baby into the family is always special, but there is something extra sweet about celebrating baby number three. This little lady arrived already so loved, with a big brother and sister ready to show her the ropes.

We incorporated a beautiful variety of pinks, greens, and neutral tones, giving Mom and Dad a gallery filled with different looks.
